Stepping Out

When we started our business, about 80% of our business came from Middle Tennessee.  One of the things I am most excited about is how far we have come - literally.

In our early years, we sold seeds in mylar lined kraft pouches - our logo was hand stamped and the seed info was on a label printed on a HP5740 deskjet printer. Then we got or pouches embossed with our logo. In 2019, we decided to see if we could get our products in stores and introduced our beautiful Seed Kits as a retail offering. The package is colorful, retail ready and our individual packs are printed featuring original artwork. Plus, the Garden 1.0 Grow has been a fan favorite.

All that is to say that we made MAURO Seed ready for the world and the response has been fantastic. We have been picked up by independent hardware stores, garden centers, home goods stores, gift shops and the like. One of the most exciting things for us to see our seeds in stores around the country. From Colorado, to Silicon Valley, Boston, Upstate NY, Mississippi, Utah, South Carolina, Texas and more.

All this made 2019 record year for us.  The best part is that we have been able to ship more seeds to our giving partners than ever.  We are doubling down on Venezuela.  A wonderful people and a horrible government with no concerns for their citizens well being.  And our new partnership with Plant with Purpose is taking seeds down to the Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

We are thankful for all of our retail and individual customers.Your support funds this operation.  We don't operate without your support. Please buy seeds for yourself, a friend.  Tell your local hardware store.  Please spread the word.  Thanks.
